“When I returned to college at ESC in Fall 2013 I benefited from a support system at ESC that recognized my life experiences as struggles as a minority woman. The Women of Color Prior Learning Assessment workshops were key to my successfully completing my first term at ESC. The inspiring network of mentors and fellow students offered a safe environment to openly discuss difficulties we faced as ethnic women from varied backgrounds.

So many mentors have extended themselves to encourage and support me in my academic, career, and life goals, I intend to pay it forward and be of service to fellow minority students. These are attributes I will extend to a broader ESC student body and faculty network in my position and work with MSiA.

MSiA Club embodies diverse cultures within OUR COLLEGE, to advocate for progressive enhancement of OUR EXPERIENCE within an inclusive collegiate environment – united by OUR VOICE.”
